Hong Kong made its debut at the 1952 Games in Melbourne, Australia. Since that time Hong Kong has sent athletes to every Summer Olympic Games and every Winter Games since Salt Lake City, USA in 2002.
We are a unique group of individual athletes who have represented their flag at the Olympic Games. The Hong Kong Olympians Association was established in 2021 under the World Olympians Association (WOA) in 2021 and is recognised by the Hong Kong, China Olympic Committee (HKSF&OC).
As former Hong Kong Olympic athletes, we share in our history of training and competing in elite level and associate ourselves with the Olympic vales of:
Excellence, Friendship, Respect, Fair Play and Solidarity.
All Hong Kong Olympians are eligible to become members of the Hong Kong Olympians Association. We invite our Olympians to sign up to join our HKOA community in helping promote the Olympic values and ideals of Olympism, using our important status as Olympians to help do good for current and retired Olympians, Olympians of the future, and for the Hong Kong community at large.
