Eric Lockeyear

Eric Lockeyear
Eric Lockeyear served for over 30 years as a member of the Hong Kong Police, and then the Royal Hong Kong Police after its change of status. He held a variety of position during this time.
A keen sailor, Eric represented Hong Kong at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, where he competed in the two person Heavy Weight Dinghy category with partner Timothy Parsons.
After retiring from the police and meandering halfway round the world on his yacht, he established a consultancy in governance reform and anti-corruption, becoming a panel expert on combatting corruption for both the United Nations and the European Union.
Retired now, Eric spends his time writing, flyfishes and provides empirical analysis on grape fermentation. He lives in Cornwall, England with his wife Cynthia, when not travelling to visit his band of children and grandchildren.
