LEE, Ka Man Carmen

李嘉文於2000年透過康樂及文化事務署的體育推廣計劃於學校首次接觸到賽艇運動,並於一系列的訓練中表現出色被挑選入發展隊。李嘉文明白到自己天生條件並不突出,所以她對訓練的付出及努力比其他人更專心和投入,並於15歲之齡首次代表香港參加亞運會,及後展開長達接近20年全職運動員生涯,當中參與5屆亞運會,亞洲沙灘運動會,東亞運動伯會,兩屆奧運等多項國際性運動伯會,其中於里約奧運夥拍妹妹參與輕量級雙人艇。成績斐然,於亞運會上合共得到3銀1銅的佳績,及於多個公開賽中奪得金、銀獎牌,更連續多年奪得中國香港賽艇協會年度傑出女運動員獎。

退役後,展開人生首份全職工作,於香港教育大學管理運動隊事務,工作之餘為興趣學習普拉提運動保持健康體魄,同時不忘繼續對體育運動的關心和發展,出任多項公職,繼續回饋社會。

Lee Crmen was first introduced to the sport of rowing through the LCSD's sports programme in 2000.
Her performance was noticed through a series of training regimen and was subsequently selected as a member of Youth Rowing Development of Hong Kong.


Carmen understood the physical requirements of the sport and thus committed herself through effort and discipline to overcome her shortcomings. 


At the age of 15 she represented Hong Kong in her first Asian Games and since then has spanned a career in rowing for almost 20 years.


During which she participated in 5 Asian Games, Asian Beach Games, East Asian Games and 2 Olympic Games, and in particular the 2016 Rio Olympics rowed with her younger sister in the Lightweight Women's Double.

Her exemplary results over her career rewarded her with notably 3 Silver medals and 1 Bronze med in the Asian Games along with a plethora of gold and silver medals in numerous other open competition.
She was awarded by the Hong Kong, China Rowing Association of the women's award for a number of years.

Since retiring from her professional athletic career she has stepped into society and started anew as a sports team manager at the EdU and has maintained her interest and commitment to sport and fitness with Pilates.

She maintains her contribution and commitment to Hong Kong's sporting scene through numerous sporting committees and public channels.
