LO, Ka Kay

盧嘉琪(KK)曾參與不同運動如射擊、籃球、跑山等,也是跆拳道黑帶一段。2004年代表香港參加雅典奧運,是首位代表香港射擊項目的女運動員。同時,KK也參加過兩屆亞運會和兩屆全運會。

KK是一位運動生理學家和體能教練,曾於香港體育學院任職高級運動科學主任, 管理運動科學實驗室,負責運動科學應用﹑訓練和測試。2021年東京奧運負責香港代表隊的運動科學支援,以協助運動員訓練及恢復。

KK於2022年開始於香港大學運動中心擔任體育發展經理,負責體育發展﹑培訓和支援。同時KK也是香港運動醫學及運動科學學會委員會成員,香港中文大學和香港教育大學客席講師,也經常為不同教育機構和體育總會提供運動科學講座以推廣體育發展。

Lo Ka Kay (KK), born in Hong Kong, has been actively involved in various sports activities such as basketball and trail running and earned a black belt in Taekwondo. Later, she participated in the shooting competition and became the first-ever Hong Kong Woman to compete in the Olympic shooting event in 2004. She represented Hong Kong in one Olympic Games, two Asian Games, and two All China National Games.

KK became a certified Exercise Physiologist, Strength and Conditioning Specialist and worked as a Senior Sports Science Officer for the Scientific Assessment Team of Hong Kong Sports Institute. KK oversaw the high-end nationally directed laboratory that provided evidence and practical-based services in sports training and recovery, including the sports science support for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

She has worked at the University of Hong Kong as the Sports Development Manager for sports education, sports development, and student-athlete development in the Centre for Sports and Exercise (CSE) since 2022. KK is a council member of Hong Kong Sports Medicine and Sports Science (HKASMSS). KK conducts lectures at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Education University of Hong Kong, international symposia, sports associations, and the public to promote sports science knowledge for sports development.
