TSANG, Wing Sze
TSANG Wing Sze has loved sports since she was a child. She joined the school team and swimming club to learn to swim at the age of 11. In the beginning, her family opposed her swimming, but after some lobbying by the teacher, she had the opportunity to join the school team training. She has been learning with an open mind and an attitude of never giving up when swimming.
Under the careful training of teachers and the swimming club coach, she joined the Hong Kong team for training at the age of 12 and represented Hong Kong in competitions. After retiring, she served as the swimming coach of the Hong Kong Sports Institute from 1992 to 1996 and was responsible for the training of the Hong Kong team. Later, she joined the Hong Kong Jockey Club as the head coach of the swimming team.
She won Outstanding Coach of the Year and the Best Coach of the Hong Kong Swimming Coaches Association in 2001, she was appointed as the coach of the Hong Kong team to participate in many international competitions, including the 1998 World Youth Games, the 1990 and 2003 National City Games, and the 2000 and 2016 Asian Swimming Championships, the 2001 National Games, the 2001 and 2005 East Asian Games, the 2005 and 2007 Asian Indoor Games, 2002, 2014 and 2018 Asian Games and the 2004 Olympic Games.
曾詠詩從小就熱愛運動。 她11歲就加入校隊和泳會學習游泳,一開始家人反對她游泳,但經過老師的一番遊說,她才有機會參加校隊訓練。 游泳時,她一直虛心學習,永不放棄。 在老師和游泳會教練的悉心培養下,她在12歲時就加入了香港隊受訓,並代表香港參加比賽。 退役後,她於1992年至1996年擔任香港體育學院游泳教練,負責香港隊的訓練。 其後,她加入香港賽馬會,出任游泳隊總教練。 並於2001年榮獲香港游泳教練會年度傑出教練及最佳教練,並獲委任為香港隊教練參加多項國際賽事,包括1998年世界青年運動會、1990年及 2003年全國城市運動會,2000年、2016年亞洲游泳錦標賽,2001年全運會,2001年、2005年東亞運動會,2005年、2007年亞洲室內運動會,2002年、2014年、2018年亞運會,2004年奧運會。
